Despite challenges such as limited facilities, scarce funding, and low awareness of the sport, Ugandan rowers have demonstrated resilience and passion, proving that determination can overcome barriers. In recent years, Ugandan rowers have participated in regional regattas, continental championships, and global events, proudly flying the country’s flag on international waters. Training exchanges, coaching workshops, and partnerships with global rowing bodies are equipping Ugandan athletes and coaches with modern techniques and resources.
